Monster High

Monster High dolls come in two different age groups and have already been selling well this year. The dolls are patterned after the current popular trend toward vampires and other creatures. The older age group of dolls is the children of famous movie monsters and they are all in high school. There is also a website with additional games and activities to be make Monster High more interactive. These are very cute and come with pets. Many additional accessories are available for the collection.

Zoobles

Another toy that girls will want to collect is Zoobles. They are little plastic animals whose parts can be folded into themselves to create a little ball. They will spring back open to surprise you or any time they are put into their habitat. Each Zooble comes with its own habitat and girls will love to have a collection of them. There are other accessories like a tree house available for them. Zoobles are recommended for children 4-years-old and older because of the potential choking hazard from small pieces.

Lalaloopsies are adorable dolls that are about 13 inches tall and each comes with their own very cute pet. The dolls are made by Bitty Buttons and also come with a collectable poster and a promise certificate. Each doll is different as their names suggest: Spot Splatter Splash, Jewel Sparkles, Crumbs Sugar Cookie, Bea Spells-a-Lot, Dot Starlight, Mittens Fluff ‘n’ Stuff, Pillow Featherbed and Peanut Big Top. Ages 6-12 are the recommended ages for Lalaloopsy.

Squinkies

Squinkies are little rubbery animal figurines come in sets of 12 or other size packages. Right now there are six different 12 pack sets available and girls are going to want to collect all of them. The Squinkies Cupcake Surprise Bake Shop is also one of the 2010 hot toys for girls. It is a very colorful and fun toy for girls to use when playing with their Squinkies. Magic Orbeez Maker is a very neat toy for kids ages 5 and up. This is used with the Orbeez; which are tiny beads that grow in water to become larger squishy beads that bounce and can be used to make pictures and designs. They can be displayed in plastic boxes that come in different shapes. This fun and creative toy is reported to be one of 2010’s hot toys.
