Link MySpace, Twitter and Facebook Status Messages

If you have been looking for a way to link your social networking together and update all of your friends in one place just by updating one status; you can stop looking. MySpace has just released the way to do sync your MySpace, Facebook and Twitter status’ just by giving MySpace permission to post on your other accounts. In order to put the same status you have on your MySpace to the others, it just requires clicking a few buttons. If you want to share the same status message with friends from all three social networking sites then setting up sync through MySpace would be the best option for you to use.  Setting up MySpace to sync with your other accounts is a very easy and quick process and will save you time when updating status messages to friends in the future.

If you have MySpace now you would have received a message from them that looks like the picture to the right. To get started, all you need to do is click the Sync Now button.

A new page will pop up and allow you to give MySpace permission to sync with Twitter to update Twitter status from a MySpace status update and update MySpace status with a Twitter status update. When you have that set the way you want, you can choose to add Facebook to the sync also.

Facebook, at this time will only accept status updates from MySpace but won’t update MySpace if you change your status on Facebook.  Hopefully that will be updated soon because right now it makes MySpace more appealing if you are trying to update all of your social networking sites at one time.

What this means is that if you log into MySpace and update your status, once you have given permission for the accounts to sync together, you will be updating Twitter and Facebook at the same time. This sync application will be extremely time saving to people who are using all 3 social networks in their work.

MySpace gives you the option to sync Facebook, Twitter or both services when you update your MySpace Status. You can choose each time you update, who will see your status updates.

The MySpace update will automatically post to Twitter if you have left the Twitter option checked when updating your MySpace status. In order to set this up you had to give MySpace permission to access your Twitter account so once you update your MySpace status there is nothing else you need to do to update Twitter.

In order to update Facebook status from My Space you had to give them permission so if you leave Facebook checked when you update your MySpace Status, you will automatically be updating Facebook status. The Facebook option can be unchecked for any update if you prefer not to use it.

MySpace has always run a distant second to Facebook when it come to social networking. This new sync option will make MySpace more appealing to members who use all three social networking sites and have been looking for a way to make it simpler and faster to update all of their friends at one time with status and other postings.
