Any Information Will Help
On June 4, 2010, Kyron Horman’s stepmother drove him to school early for a science fair. At approximately 8:45 am, Terri Horman said she watched him walk toward his 2nd grade classroom at Skyline Elementary School in Portland before leaving. Homeroom didn’t start until 10 am and when his teacher took attendance, she reported him absent.
This is Kyron’s description on the day he disappeared: 3-feet, 8-inches tall, 50 pounds, blue eyes, brown hair. He was wearing black cargo pants, white socks and worn black Skechers tennis shoes with orange trim.
Kyron’s disappearance was reported to 911 by Mrs. Horman when he didn’t come home on the school bus that day. Authorities and volunteers searched the wooded area around the school. Dive teams searched ponds and lakes and found no trace of Kyron.
An anonymous donor recently increased the reward for information leading to Kyron’s whereabouts from $25,000 to $50,000. The police, and all other agencies involved have been taking tips from all over from people who think they may have seen Kyron. They are working through each tip they receive in hopes of finding Kyron as quickly as possible.
The police have been reluctant to refer to this as child abduction and the family has not received any ransom demands. Kyron's mother Desiree Young, stepfather Tony Young and father Kaine Horman have been cooperating with authorities in an attempt to find anyone who has information about Kyron’s whereabouts.

Kyron's Stepmother: Terri Moulton Horman
Imminent Arrest?
The last person to see Kyron on June 4, 2010 was his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman. She claims to have watched him walk toward his second grade classroom after they viewed the science fair at Skyline Elementary School in Portland Oregon. She was driving a white Ford F250 on the day that Kyron disappeared.
Since the disappearance of Kyron, Terri Horman is reported to have started a sexual relationship with a high school friend of her husband’s. He and a good friend of Mrs. Horman's, DeDe Spicher, have been interviewed by authorities in the disappearance as well.
On June 26th, she met with the landscaper that she allegedly offered to pay to kill her husband, Kaine Horman. The landscaper wore a wire but Mrs. Horman said nothing to incriminate herself during the brief meeting.
Kaine Horman, having been told about the plot by authorities left Mrs. Horman; taking their 19-month-old daughter with him. Mr. Horman has since file for a restraining order and a divorce citing that he feels she may be involved in Kyron's disappearance and that she tried to hire someone to kill him.
Terri Horman has retained defense attorney Stephen Houze and has reportedly paid him a retainer of $350,000. Kaine Horman has asked a judge to force Mrs. Horman to disclose the source of the money. If it is found that the money is part if the marital assets; he would be entitled to half.
Only time will tell if there is evidence that Mrs. Horman had anything to do with her stepson's disappearance.
