Anyone who writes a blog online has two big issues that they have to contend with if they are looking for exposure. How do I get people to my blog? How do I make money writing online? There are so many tips and tricks that it all gets confusing and hard to understand if you are a better writer than you are an internet marketer. Some of the tricks can seem a bit unethical and if you think it might be questionable, don’t use it.

I am still new to writing online. There’s a lot more to it than I ever expected. You can’t just post on a blog and hope that someone sees it. Another option that might be helpful if used the right way is to share your work on other sites where you are active. Some sites allow you to post your blog URL as part of your overall profile and it’s possible that people will take a look at your blog and follow you or bookmark your blog to read when you make a new post.

There is a site that has just launched, Best Reviewer, which might be helpful, depending on what you are writing. It’s a site where you can create a ‘Top’ list of 3-20 of your articles and post them all together. So, for example, if you have written a blog about recipes; you could break it down into lists of ‘Top 10 Best Healthy Dinners’ or ‘Top 20 Side Dish Recipes.’ The recipes themselves are not part of the new article but the links to them are. It’s possible to reach more people with your recipes this way and makes them easier for people to find when searching. It's an easy site to register for and navigate for those of us who are technically challenged.

It’s possible to gain more exposure for your writing by using this type of site. It’s also a great way to make contact with other writers and find ‘Top’ lists of topics that you like to read about. Making money writing online can be difficult and time consuming but knowing that people are reading and enjoying your blogs, articles, etc is very rewarding.
