Facebook has come to be one the premier social networking sites for keeping contact with friends and family who you may not get to see or talk to any other way. People do also meet people on Facebook and make new friends through the different gaming applications. It can be a lot of fun to see pictures your friends post on their profile and keeping up with what they are doing. There is a small one on one chat where you can type directly to any friends who are online or send a email type message to them Facebook is great for networking for business, following your favorite stars activities, and much more. In at least one reported case, Facebook is also good for finding your spouse’s other life.

In July of 2005, Lynn France, 41, married John France, 63, in Italy and together they have two small boys, ages 2 and 3. They were wed in the Catholic Church before a priest who entered the information into the church record books. They had flown from Cleveland Ohio with several family members and friends who attended the wedding.

By 2007 John France was looking into filing for divorce but found that supposedly the marriage to wasn’t valid because it had never been filed. John France still claims that his marriage to Lynn wasn’t legal due to the oversight. Lynn France contends that their wedding was real.

In 2008 John started increasing the frequency of his business trips and Lynn became suspicious that something wasn’t quite right. At one point, he was supposed to be on a business trip to China but had left his passport at home. In October, Lynn found a hotel’s website pulled up on the computer at home and took a friend with her to confirm her suspicions. The hotel was about 2 hours from their home. Lynn did find John at a hotel with a woman who claimed to be John’s fiancé. Amanda Weisel, age 25.

Shortly after being caught with Amanda Weisel, John moved out of the family home. Lynn was still looking for answers about who this other woman was when a friend suggested that she check to see if the other woman had a Facebook account where she might find more information. In January of 2009, not only did Lynn find the Facebook account of the Amanda Weisel, she also viewed bridal shower and wedding pictures that the woman had posted. Wedding pictures that showed John France as a Prince Charming groom with Amanda Weisel (France) as a Sleeping Beauty bride at Disney World. Lynn started divorce proceedings in Ohio after finding the Facebook account.

In June of 2009 John France came back to Ohio from Florida in order to reconcile with Lynn. He promised to have the marriage to Amanda annulled and wanted a fresh start but in May of 2010 he took the two young boys he had with Lynn to Florida with him where he reunited with Amanda. They all live together in his Tampa Palms home, which is valued at over $750,000. Lynn has not seen her children since that time except on the Facebook accounts of her husband and his new wife.

John France has filed for custody of the two boys and claims that he is not keeping them from Lynn. Amanda Weisel France says that anytime they have purchased a plane ticket for Lynn to come to Florida and see the children that she cancels the ticket. Both Amanda and John have made their Facebook accounts private with all the notoriety.

Amanda Weisel France is the 25 year old wife of John France and currently resides with him in Florida. She graduated from St. John's Central High School in 2003 then went on to graduate from Ohio State University in 2009 and in 2010 from the International Academy for Designing Arts Technology in Tampa.

She is currently working toward her MBA in international business at the University of Tampa and in fashion design and marketing.
